Jason’s Jackson Signature Series Phil Collen PC1 guitar is the
result of 20 years of collaboration
between Collen and Jackson.
Features include a mahogany body with quilt maple top, bolt-on quartersawn eastern
hard rock maple neck with compound radius maple fingerboard and Fender®
Stratocaster® headstock, DiMarzio® pickups with Jackson Sustainer/Driver in
H/S/S configuration, Floyd Rose® Original tremolo and gold hardware

ERNIE BALL OLP MUSICMAN CUSTOM
This MUSICMAN
came with a standard "Strat style" bridge before its
customization.
Glen Peters of Royce Music House fixed a locking nut, re-routed the bridge
housing and installed a new custom locking tremolo that Jason had assembled
onto a SCHALLER bridge plate.
The bridge sits flush to the body so as to
allow some tuning stability to the other strings if one breaks during
performance.
This guitar gives a nice, almost Strat-like clean tone and a clean
distortion with more defined notes much like the sound of it's designer
Edward Van Halen. It also has a beefier neck that helps you feel what you
are playing. This guitar resides in a straight black Riviera case.
